Dark/Ancient Talbain

Upon hearing the news of Capcom's latest collection of fighting games storming in on every console out there yesterday, I decided to go ahead and make this mock-up of Dark Talbain who I envisioned to be an ancient warrior from Red Earth. He originally appeared in Darkstalkers 3 as Jon Talbain/Gallon's final boss and considering the open-ended cliffhanger, I decided to re-imagine him as an ancient warrior who stuck around since the olden days. Considering what Jedah was doing in DS 3, this would alert the old warrior to tempt John to giving up his humanity and yeah, we don't even know what Dark's motive was so it was left out in the open.

And my sketch back then didn't opted to have the tail which I added in later to show his primitive side. Also for some reason, I decided to give him a new name and this was before I had the info that they already HAD a werewolf already available at this time which was Dark Gallon. -_- Young me is quite the mechanical miscreant. So I decided to recast him, equipped with new armor.

Another thing to point out is that I wanted to put him in a area that SCREAMS 'Red Earth'. I decided to make Lavia's stage since I like the music and not to mention, I thought it would be appropriate for Dark Gallon/Dark Talbain since he was mysterious and had opened unanswered questions. Gives off a huuuuge mystery to him.

Though I will bring out this question - who would win in a fight: Dark Gallon or the Kung-fu Werewolf from Outer Space by James Rolfe?! Tune in...in the far reaches of THE FUTURE!!
